These meetings between WGC members and their friends in Germany take place in the early evening about four times per year. In contrast to Kaffee und Kuchen (above), there are roughly the same number of participants in Germany as in the UK and conversations are in German and English, whichever the speaker is happier using – many can chat happily in both. These meetings are to strengthen friendship links between WGC and Germany and discussion topics will include what is in the news and current affairs in both countries at the time of the meeting.
