Ever since its inception, the WGC has run trips to Germany. Initially these were to families in Dortmund and Minden with follow-up return visits.

Since 2004 small groups of WGC members have had short breaks abroad every few years. We have visited Dresden, Berlin, the Ruhrgebiet, Weimar, Aachen and most recently Munich.
