Peter and Dominique are leading the annual trip for the foreign language assistants to the east coast on Saturday 11th March. There are likely to be places available on the coach and if any of you would like to come please let us know. The cost for the coach journey is £15 per person and the itinerary, with approximate timings, is as follows:

 

9 am: Depart Leeds University (Parkinson Steps).

11.30 am - 1.30 pm. Time in Whitby to do our town trail (optional) and/or to get fish and chips for lunch (optional)

1.30 pm. Travel by coach to Hawsker, 3 miles down the coast, followed by 3 mile walk along the cliff top (about 1and a half hours) to Robin Hood's Bay (Other options are to walk along the old railway track from Hawsker to RHB or to stay on the coach and go straight to RHB).

4pm. Meet at the Victoria Hotel at the top of RHB for tea/coffee + scone + cake (special price of £6.50)

5.30 pm. Depart by coach from RHB via Scarborough to Leeds, arriving at about 8 pm.
