“Our parents came from Germany” (Part 2), with contributions from Richard Mavro-Michaelis, Peter Hulbert and Fiona Kelashomi.

Following the success of the equivalent event in January, 2 or 3 WGC members and friends will tell us about the circumstances and events which led their German- or Austrian-born parents to come and live in the UK.  One of these will be Fiona Kelashomi, daughter of Dorrit Pinder, whom some of you knew, and whose diaries I have been translating. There will be equally interesting contributions from some of our own members too.

The talks will be in English or in German with English summaries.
