Helga Adams, whose mother was originally from the Sudetenland, will explain who the Sudeten Germans are and what led to the expulsion from their homeland at the end of the second World War.  Against this background she will follow the personal story of her mother and her family.

The talk will be mostly in English interspersed with bits of German.
